About Me
I come from a background in web design and development, but was drawn towards the field of UX Design due to my love of solving problems and discovering creative solutions.
I graduated from UC Irvine with a B.S. in Informatics and a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction. I was previously a Computer Science major, but after trying out a few Informatics (think of CompSci meets psychology) classes, I fell in love with designing for the user and approaching problems from different perspectives.
As a previous web designer from a marketing agency, my favorite part of the job was interviewing clients and exploring different design options to create the best websites for their needs. The experience I’ve gained as a web designer provided me with the backbone I needed to pursue UX Design. I really wanted to get into the heads users and learn more about them to further improve my design process.
When I’m not designing, I love trying out new places to eat, taking a jog, or visiting the dog beach (I really like dogs!).
